Rainbow Trout n Fly

This is a highly detailed fret, or scroll, work on ½” thick red oak of a rainbow trout in a stylized fly.

The overall piece is 9 ½” x 7”. It is finished with polyurethane varnish and is ready to hang or lay flat to decorate a surface. This is an unusual and attractive piece for cabin, den or any room. The image is the same on both sides so buy two and have a left and right pair.

This is another neat piece of fret work on 1/2" Red Oak of a Rainbow Trout and Maple Leaf.
Whether it is seeing the maple colors in the fall and chasing those fall runs or the maple buds in the spring and the first hatches, rainbows are quite often the target of our flies.
The piece is 8" x 8" and looks the same from either side so you can use as you wish. Hang it or have it as a trivet.
