Air temp 50 - 58 Water temp 59 - 60. Water level was up due to dam being opened to reduce levele above the dam. This made fishing difficult and moved fish from typical holding. The cool summer and the bubblers they installed at the dam have allowed for cooler water temps and better fishing this summer. Season closes on this section of the AuSable 30 Sep. Regulations are being studied for possible change next year to allow a longer catch and release fishery.

Salmon are in Michigan streams, get your egg flys and egg sucking leaches ready! Steeelhead should follow soon but we need some rain to get water levels up.
